Ovit Honey is brought to you with the guarantee of Anzer Balevi and the Bee brand. This unique flavor, derived from natural flower nectars and quickly becoming one of Turkey’s most special and delicious honeys, is produced by us with the utmost care in the high-altitude meadows of Ovit Mountain and its surroundings in the province of Erzurum.

Ovit Honey is a special honey offered to us by the Erzurum region, which boasts a unique natural environment and floral diversity thanks to its rich vegetation and cold climate. Our meticulous monitoring of every stage of production and our respect for natural conditions play a critical role in preserving this honey’s quality and uniqueness. Valued for both its health benefits and flavor, this honey holds a prominent position in both local and national markets.

Bee Ovit Honey Production Stages:

Beekeeping and Hive Placement: Bee Ovit Honey production begins in the spring. We transport the hives to the area around Mount Ovit during the flowering season. This allows the bees to begin collecting nectar from the flowers.

• Nectar Collection: The bees begin collecting nectar from the flowers. Ovit Mountain and its surroundings feature a rich and diverse vegetation, which influences the honey’s taste and aroma.
• Return to the Hives and Honey Preparation: The bees bring the nectar they have collected back to the hives. Here, the nectar is stored as raw honey.
• Honey Extraction: The raw honey is processed by us using specialized extraction equipment. During this process, foreign substances and beeswax are removed from the honey.
• The Influence of the Ovit Mountain Climate: The unique flavor of Erzurum Ovit Honey stems from the high-altitude geography of Ovit Mountain and the region’s cold climate. The cold climate delays the honey’s crystallization process, which in turn increases its long-term shelf life.
